The house project – DU KIEMAI – is the result of a modern man’s relationship with nature, architecture and its’ space synthesis.
The minimal volumetric expression and orthogonal geometry of the building is sensitive to the natural context – pine forest. The aim is to keep the trees by retreating from or inserting them into the interior structure of the building. In this way, the inner ‘courtyards’ integrate the protected and replanted pine trees into the design object. The architecture of the house merges into the nature as well as nature enters the house.
