It is a place where grief happen with dignity and peace. It is designed to stop and calm down the visitors in the presence of the change of being - the eternal transition further, to experience and survive the event of loss, to wait, focus and go. It is a space of quiet ritual that is not limited to one building.
Next to the crematorium, moving forward, the visitor reaches and passes through the columbarium park. It’s main structure is a sign of Dürer's magic square, which is visible from distant perspectives and consists of sixteen different indoor premises and several open spaces with different landmarks, artistic accents and spaces for concentration. Each of the micro-spaces in the columbarium park is created in such a way that it is recognizable and differentiated from the rest as well as the fuss of the outside world and the speed of everyday life.
